I just got my birthday present: Kenko Extension Tubes!!! YAY! I am still very new to macro photography (and photography in general), but the results are amazing! These, coupled with my Sigma APO DG macro lense make for some amazing shots. Here is the back of a penny (say hi to Abe)

And here is a 50% crop of a celeron processor:

Keep in mind that this is a 50% crop, so the actual image is twice this size!

Now i really can't wait unitl it warms up so I can get some outdoor shots. Anyways... just thought I'd share that with you guys.

thanks for sharing. I've been wanting to get those. Will they work on your kit lens? Where did you get them from?

Crypto: I got them as a present, but I think they were ordered from www.onecall.com (external link). Unfortunately, they do not work with the kit lense per se, however I have seen people online who have filed away some of the inside so the kit lense fits. I haven't done that, though.

Bald Eagle: Thanks for the encouragement!
