I have Photoshop Elements 10 and can't find an ACR update that will allow me to edit RAW files from my 1Dx. Can anyone please tell if Adobe has released an update that will enable this! thanks!

Until they launch Elements 11 the only way you will be able to open the RAW files directly into an Adobe application is to upgrade to either Lightroom 4 or Photoshop CS6. These are the only Adobe applications that currently support the 1Dx.

Your other option is to convert the Canon CR2 files to Adobe DNG format. There is a free download from the Adobe website that will do this for you. Then you can use the DNG file as normal in PSE10/ACR. Otherwise you can always use DPP for your RAW conversion, and open the image into PSE10 as a TIFF for final editing.
