I like it, but the clouds cover a bit too much for me. Would be nice to take about a quarter of the clouds away and get a little more of the valley.

Nice shot, you will have to give up smoking though, or are they clouds.

I was about to post a sensible answer but came across that other post with you in!! I guess it must be August when this shot was taken seeing as your arms are on display! :)

As for the ID - just to throw a spanner into the works - isn't that the beginnings of Thunacar Knott?

Where are the photos from the Old DG as well? I remember getting washed in the toilets there!! ;)

21st of July 2004 to be exact Damian.

It's possible but I would expect Thunacar Knott to be behind Pavey Ark. I don't see Pavey Ark here.
ID's can be difficult without a clear view of all the surroundings ?!

Damian, I don't take photographs in the gents toilets.

Sorry mate, couldn't resist that.

Happy New Year Cameron. This is a lovely shot, the clouds, mountains and lighting really provide a strong image in a beautiful setting. Your photos are always well composed. Thanks for sharing. Regards Reigh
