Substitue hood for 50mm f1.4

The Canon ES-71 II for the 50mm is about $27. I mostly own all lens with hoods. Could any other lens hood work the same for it? See my signature for the lens. Any other suggestions?

I own a screw-in lens rubberized and collapsable lens hood that would fit it but it obviously can be reversed for easy storage.
