Lynx on The Road to Valley of 10000 Smokes, Katmai

Saw this lynx on the side of the road to Valley of 10000 smokes at Katmai. The first shot was thru the windshield and a bit blurry. Luckily, the lynx did not go far, but chose to hide in the bush close to the road. I quickly lowered the tour bus window and took a few shots, then he was gone. The early Fall colors of the shrub was stunning.

Wonderful 2nd shot and such a lucky find. These are beautiful animals.

Nice. I captured a this wolf along that same trail (from the bus as well). Was there during the second week of August.

Love that second photo. Would love to even see one out in the wild, but to get a photo as well, awesome.
