[edit-- interested in FLASH units for your DSLR -?- a good variety of real world examples below]

Merry Christmas.
This shot was after all the unwrapping, Christmas Day.
Santa tested the diffuser, kids tested my patience... here is my grand-daughter (2.5yrs) and her 2 uncles (10yrs).

You gotta sympathise with all the zillions of dads around the world... You didn't see me assembling those things and expanding my vocabulary.

Cmon, who else took a pic today!

I had an easy year, only a keyboard stand and a wagon needed assembly.

Here are my two, my daughter modeling a new jacket and my son all pooped out.

Just a gorgeous little lady. Beautiful shot, bet mum's happy! Think I'll PP another one too.

++ just uploaded some pics of Christmas Day. Now to email the URL to those in the family far away.

Gotta to love DSLRs, its only about a day later. And I've hardly had a chance to worry about it...

Oh that every child in the world could be as happy as my grand daughter in her new playhouse... and I managed to capture a touch of it in her eyes.

Hey Carzee.. Santa left a couple of bikes at my house too. He also left these Dr Dreadful food and drink Labs. If I had of known how much mess they make, I would have given it straight back to santa! :)

My youngest two sons with their favourite toys of this year. Still keeping them quiet on Boxing Day, so they must be good!
