this is a shot I really wanted to make - we went out around 10pm to the Fairyland trail head - packed up the camera, tripod , head lamps and flashlights and gingerly hiked down the trail for about 1/4 mile -(we had scouted it out in daylight to make sure of the location) and set up-
My husband runs light painting I set up the camera and using my Head lamp (red light) add some light to the fore ground -
we were rewarded with our efforts - hope you enjoy -:)

Very nice images, worth the effort I'd say.

Best, Bruce

Thanks all - was a fun shoot -
Irishman - Not Thor's hammer - this is in Fairyland which is north of Sunset point where Thor's hammer is - this is sort of a mini hammer - I wish you could get in a position to shoot Thor's hammer with the Milky way but there is no trail that would get you in position

Absolutely sensational set. Great effort. KUDOS bestowed.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.
