Two new pictures of a Portulaca and a White Crown of Thorns flower.

Both images are stacked using Zerene stacker.

Oh yeah, I see what you mean. I will have to tinker with it to see if I can make it better.

Probably didn't help that at the last minute I decided to crop it without doing anything else to it.

Nice.

I'd suggest stacking more images with deep flowers like the second one--key parts are OOF. But the composition is otherwise very nice.

BTW, if you haven't, try comparing PMax and DMap in Zerene. PMax seems to be most common, but I have generally had better luck with flowers using DMap,

Thanks Paddler, I only used three images to stack in the second shot. And I used Dmap (the contrast was set very low iirc).

Ok, here are both with NR in the BG (or at least my attempt using Corel Paint Shop Pro X).

Any better or did I make it worse?
