Sep 17, 2012 17:34 | #4 I was messin around with long exposure while spinning the camera in circle and finding my subject before second curtian flash. I know its not great however during the five second exposure with all that was going on I was happy to even see a face. It was an experiment, I'm sure everyone here has tried things out of the box.I just posted my results....guess that was a bad thing.

Agree with others about maybe more direct and/or more powerful flash for a better exposure of the kid. All I had was the on-board flash...kind of a last minute shot before dark....My son yelled "hay dad up here" the rest is history. I saw this done on-line however there photo turned out much better..o well I tried and thats what its all about.

It takes time to perfect a technique or style, and I like the concept you have going. I like to tinker with long exposure shots and lights and stuff, most of them come out as if the camera was on LSD but sometimes I get a cool one Dmitriy Khaykin
