I've been using Lightroom 4 ever since it came out and the catalog name was Lightroom 3.2 or something like that. Anyway, when I opened Lightroom this morning it said it could not find the catalog. The last thing I did yesterday after using LR was to back it up and close. Now when I search for catalogs, the only thing I can find is Lighroom 4 beta catalog and a Lightroom 4 catalog.

I also looked in the recycle bin to see if I somehow deleted this, but there was nothing there. Any suggestions?

If you backed up the catalog, you have no problem - that is, after all, what backups are for. Copy the last backup *.lrcat file to wherever you want your catalog to be, you can give it a new name if you want, or continue with the present name, and double-click on it. LR will launch with that catalog.

Thanks for your response. I didn't think of just searching for *.lrcat. Now I know where it was hiding and all is good.
