Just messing around with my 5D mkII for the day when i decide tonight to pack all my gear away as im off working tomorrow for a few weeks.

Started to remove the battery grip and it wont come off, looks like the threads have stripped inside the BG-E6 grip. So it is now stuck to the camera body and im seriously annoyed with it.

First my 13 month old pc decides to destroy the motherboard and now this, it never rains but it pours.

Rant over. :o

Hi there,

This happened to our 5d2 as well.......really annoying as I use it ungripped but my husband uses it with the grip on.

I took it to Canon and they fixed it pretty quick, as far as I remember they did it FOC as well :)
