Of course the Tair lenses are not sharp wide open, few lenses are. You do not buy such an old lens for sharpness.

I just received a FotoDiox lens mount adapter, "Nikon to Canon EOS V.2 w/ AF Chip," purchased from Amazon. The price was around $29.00. I sort of followed the instructions on how to program the chip, but I am not certain if I did things right.  7D, 5DII
