I think I will try the Sigma 35 one more time in a few months... If it still shifts like crazy I will give up!

But I loved the lens... I just want it to work right in all conditions. But next time I will order via Amazon and have free return shipping if anything. Canon did some AF adjustments on my body and replaced some internals so my camera should be ideal again to test it out with!

What internals did they replace?

I'm glad you're planning on being back with us, Invertalon!

Well I sent in for a free check/clean and they found the AF sensor assembly was out of position and corrected that, replaced some flex cable and some other component inside, adjusted white balance/metering, cleaned and calibrated. So if anything, my body should be working ideally to see if it is the body or the lens. Not sure if what they did would correct the artificial light shifting, but never know... So I will try one more time in the next few months and hope for the best for the third and final time :D

Hey guys. Joined the forum, so I can contribute as well.

I have been following the thread from its very beginning. My sig35 in coming in the mail next week. A good addition to my sig85 with my 5d3.

Great images that everyone is posting. I love the 3 dimensional look you get from the Sig85 and form this lens as well, as I see in many photos.

Just when I thought I'd forget about this lens, a shop actually sent me one at the post office! Was a bit hesistant about receiving lens through the mail but boy was I surprised!

I took three shots with the 15-85mm, Sigma and Rokkinon. Take a guess which is which (all shot at f4.5, 400 iso, 1/50 sec and heavily cropped).

Can you explain what you did with canon in order to get it adjusted? I just bought a new to me 7D and since I'm not sure on the history I want to make sure its all working to the best of its ability. Thanks!

I got my replacement lens from Adorama, very happy with their service, thanks a lot Helen and the team over there who tested my new Sig35 before sending it out, it is spot on at 0 MFA without any of the focus shift issues I had with my previous copy!

I wish Digital Rev offered this service. I really can't decide whether it's worth getting them to ship another untested copy all the way over to the UK.. I think if they make me pay for the return shipping on my current copy then that'll answer the question for me!

I'm really glad I ordered mine from Adorama, I talked about my issue a lot earlier in the thread, I almost kept the lens as the problem wasn't horrible but I figured I'd always be unhappy with it knowing there were better copies out there!
