Used the timer on the 20D. I found it hard to get my son to smile at the camera. He smiled and laughed, but would be looking at me.

Sant must have take a picture before he left. I found this picture on my CF card this morning. He must have saw my 20D and gave it a try.

first one looks a little dark, second one looks a little bright , but nice pics. your son is so cute.

Yes, both of them need exposure and white balance adjustments, but if you shot RAW, that should be painless.

Thanks for the suggestion. What I was trying to do in the first one, is to not over expose the picture so that the tree lights wouldn't show. Any suggestions how to expose the picture properly, so that the tree lights still show would be appreciated. Thanks for everyone's help.
