I will say... remember that if you want to trade gear around just stay in this thread, we're bad influences

haha for sure
you will almost definitely end up with either Nikon or Canon version of the 70-200mm and a few high end primes

The D700 sits taller, especially with the VF/popup height, while the actual top LCD and top controls not far apart. The D700 might feel a little wider to me, but it's likely also to do with the fact that the grip is meatier. The D600 grip doesn't feel wimpy to me though, it's cut in a way that may let your fingers wrap around and "in" more if that makes sense. Weight wise the D700 feels slightly heavier, but again likely not as much as I expected. The D700 surprisingly doesn't feel that it's built more solidly, or more metal.

I got the gear listed in my sig that I would have to sell, plus the brand new 85 1.8 I'm picking up tomorrow plus some small stuff like the remote, grip, 2 Batteries, CF cards, etc. If I could sell all that and get the 2 Nikon equivalent flashes, 70-200 and at least the 85 1.8 and 50mm 1.8...close to even, I'd do it.I am not sure..is your 70-200mm ISII? if not, I think you have to cough up some money to buy what you want on the Nikon side, Nikon flashes are expensive too.
