I'm not gonna sugar coat my opinion on the 5D 3. It's an excellent camera. The only three things that bugged me was the DR, color noise, banding at the low and high end of the ISO spectrum (ISO 25600). Everything else about the camera is great. The reason I still have my 1Ds 3 is that it's a better sensor at low ISO. Otherwise I would've sold it already. :)

I will only go up to 6400 max. I never use those extreme ISO. Useless really in my honest opinion on every camera. They are just there for marketing reasons (Yes you have ISO 25600, 52000, etc etc). For me the max usable for nice clean files will be 6400. I wont go above that just like i dont touch 3200 on my 7D.
