Hi,

I have a 7D and have noticed that most of my lenses do not focus well in low light (lamp in a medium indoor room.) To give you an idea of the light amount, in AV mode, with auto-iso selected, at 2.8aperture the camera will select 800-1600iso, and at 4.0 3200-6400 will be selected.

Now I understand that in low light focus will be off a lot. However, it seems that all my lenses backfocus instead of frontfocus. Could that mean something is off with my body? All the lenses seem to need 0 micro-adjustment when in bright settings (outdoors under good sun).

Have any of you guys noticed similarly that the 7D backfocuses in low light?

Thanks for your help!

Nope. Need examples - taken on a tripod with Exif intact.
