Both versions work, but i'd up the contrast a good amount on the B&W one. Really like the composition and framing, though.

Love the colour version the best, brill picture!. The fold at the bottom right caught my eye though so i'd edit that out.

Although I'm a fan of B&W I'd say color version as well here. Lovely pic!

Very cute shot. I think I prefer the color version too but on my monitor, there seems to be a greenish haze to the entire scene that a white balance adjustment would take care of. Here's a quick edit where I adjusted the white balance to my monitor for comparison.

I swear I edited out that fold already lol

Thanks for the input, I shall do more post processing :) I'm not seeing green, but I do like your edit better.

hehe.
I prefer your colours, it's just personal preference though, I don't like the eyes to look too bright.

I agree that most white balance adjustments tend to be a matter of taste...and how an image looks on ones own monitor. As far as the girls eyes, I made no changes there. The only adjustments I made were w/b and a slight increase in contrast.

The edit is a bit strong for me, just looks blown out. I agree the original needs just a bit more pop. My eye says to somehow lighten the monkey on her right as he is over competing for the shots attention. And by far the color image is the route to take.
