Well I love my current combo...35L and 200L.

Been wanting to pick up a 10-20 to walk around with (hiking, traveling, auto events). Figure I could ditch the 35L and pick up two lenses.

Thinking about selling the 35L and picking up either a Canon 28 1.8 or Sigma 50.

Anyone switched away from the 35L for the Canon 28 or Sig 50?

Yeah, I'm not really opposed to it either. I seem to really like the 50mm focal on my crop. Not sure why. I hear good things about the Sigma 50

Eh, probably more than i want to spend.

I just found a 10-20 on sale here for a decent price. Might just pick it up and keep all 3 lenses :D

First thing I would never buy a 35L for a cropcam, but this is your personal choice, it's one of the holy trinity on fullframe and one of my best lenses I would ever sell.
Comming from a 35 1.4L I would go to the Canon EF-S 10-22, the best UWA for crop, this step seems more logic. And as a fast lens you should re-buy Sigma 30 1.4 ;)

By the way : had the 200 2.8L too in past, perfect IQ and compact but o so unhandy, I hate long primes as you need too much room, just too limited, if I would ever buy again a tele it would be only the 100-400L

I absolutely love the 35L on the crop really, I really enjoy it. I just don't justify its use enough to keep it. My intention used to be to buy a 5DII after the 5DIII came out but my priorities have since changed drastically.

My 200L works nicely for my autoshoots and sporting events

No...you can pry the 35L out of my cold, dead hands. It would break up my trinity. Of course...I do have plenty of other lenses to pick from lol.

Why wouldn't you buy a 35L for a crop camera...? As long as you understand that you get a similar FOV to a 50 on a FF then I see no reason why you wouldn't...

Taylor02GT, are you opposed to zooms, why not pick up the 10-20 as you've suggested and a 24-xx - either the 70 or the 105, I love the 35L personally but if it's not for you and your style or you don't use it enough then swap it for one that you would use.

Ditch the 50D and get a full frame camera. 35 is magic on full frame.
