Sure, if you like wide frames, go for Canon 28 f/1,8 and 20/2,8. You will be amazed by the results, even if it's not so wide. 17-40L is a nice lens and i like using it, but i really prefer the images from those two primes.

5D2 & 17-40L without a doubt :) Especially with the 50/1.4 & 85/1.8 :)

Add in a 100mm macro & a Sigma 70-200/2.8 & you have my kit ;)
