I have the Pelican 0915 and I honestly cannot see life without it. It is beyond durable, and water tight and I have definitely put that to the test. I live in a desert environment and I hike regularly to some near by mountains that have some natural springs and waterfalls. Everything, including me, comes back horrifically dirty except of course my SD cards. The snap also locks down tight so I do not have to worry about it flying open. The foam on the inside is also very durable and I have no problems with it tearing or coming unseated. I am not sure if Pelican can improve this case any more than what it already has!

I have both the pelican and the pocket rocket. While the pelican is certainly tough, I prefer the pocket rocket. I don't shoot in any situations where I'm worried about a truck driving over my memory cards.

Having (deliberately) driven a car over a bare CF card, I can say that the Pelican is overkill in that regard. The plastic cases most SD cards come in will provide ample protection, and still fit in a CF Pixel Pocket Rocket.

Most SD cards no longer come in plastic cases.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

Just in case you're wavering, the Pelican is great!

Wouldn't know about "most", but the SanDisk Ultra and Extreme cards I buy still do.

This is my favorite SD case - Hakuba. A lot of different vendors sell it. I really like the carabiner which I can attach to the key clips that a lot of bags have.

The Peli also works well with one of those things.

I have not seen the Gepe Extreme Hard Cases mentioned, I have two of them, they are smaller than the Pelican, each holds 4 CF or 4 SD cards, I can attest that they are great cases, small, light, crush proof and very durable.
