Thanks everyone for the good info. Looks like the 70-200 may be the winner.

Congratulation for the wise decision and let me tell you two things:

1- You will never regret with 70-200 F/4 Non-IS that is arguably the sharpest of an extra sharp family of lenses Canon makes.

2- Should you not get it now, you will buy it later, but at much higher price overall.
