A few random shots from the past couple of weeks at my daughter's cross country meets. These were all shot with my Canon 450D and 55-250 IS.

1. Sprint to the finish.

5. This girl is an 8th grader and won the JV race by about 30 seconds. Too bad she can't run Varsity 'till next year.

8. What's neat about this photo is that the boy cheering in the background is the runner's younger brother.

I have yet to see a flattering image of cross country running. Why, mainly because they are busting a gut trying to finish as fast as possible.

Great work getting the action side of xc...#6 in particular. Just watch your timing so that appendages arent severed. If it happens, just crop accordingly but always right above or below a joint....
