using a 60D with kit lens 18-55 and 50mm 1.8 at the moment
Now gonna buy polarizing and Neutral density filters.. (never used them before btw)
So just asking, as 18-55mm is 58mm i guess. I'm gonna get a filter for 58mm right.
As i'm planning to buy a 55-250mm in few days, what filter works on that?
doesn't the same 58mm or something else?
let me know please

Each lens will have specifications on google, diameter of lens is what you are after. Many lenses share the same diameter, but not all, so check both of them, e.g. I have 72mm, 77mm etc filters
And p.s. it's neutral density filter. not nature :)

Both those lenses have 58mm filter threads.

It's usually written on the lens, but I think it's nowhere on the 18-55 for some incomprehensible reason.

Its on the 18-55 IS II, about the 8 o'clock position when the lens is mounted. Should read Ø58mm, the Ø symbol means "diameter".
