Is there a way to mount a Canon lens to a Nikon body? I'm selling am MP-E 65 and twin flash. Someone local is interested and I'd like to sell it that way before posting it in the forums.

Nope. One of the nice things about Canon is that you can mount pretty much any other lens on a Canon camera with a non-lens adapter, but that means Canon lenses won't mount on anyone elses.

Canon has the largest flange to sensor distance of any of the DSLR makes I know of.

But the mp-e 65 doesn't need an adapter with glass, just a mount with aperture control.

The mp-e doesn't need infinity focus thus no adapter lens is needed.

So how will someone mount the mp-e to a Nikon body?

That's a good point, that it doesn't need infinity focus, didn't think of that.

BUT, it still won't have the expected focus range (I guess it would just increase the magnification, I don't know by how much) and I have have no idea how you'd attach it to a Nikon since AFAIK no-one makes an adapter.

And of course I meant canon has the smallest flange to sensor distance.

maybe someone had made an adapter?
