Hey guys, so I got a speedlite a little while ago and I haven't learned how to use it. I've been messing with it, but still not that great with it. Does anyone know a good book or source for learning lighting?
Also, I've been asked to do a photo booth at a birthday party on Saturday. I am wondering what the best set up would be for lighting! I only have the one light. I am not even sure how close I'll be to a window or anything and the party starts at like 7 I think, so it could be just indoor lighting by the time we take pictures. I got a light stand, umbrella, and a sync cord so I can take my flash off camera, but I don't know the best location for it. side? just behind me? high? If it was one person Id probably do a little to the side, but with 3 or 4 people being in most photo booth shots I don't want someone to be shadowed. Clueless.
