Export Modified Versions (Lightroom 4)

I'm attempting to transfer my Modified photos from Lightroom to Aperture. I know I won't retain the Adjustment Settings, I just want the Modified photos instead of the Originals.

I thought DNG was the best format to do this. But the Embeded JPEG Preview is Modified while the RAW file itself seems to stay the same. I know this because in Aperture's Library View I see the Edited version, but as soon as I open it, it appears to read the RAW file and revert back to the original.

I can't find an option to Export a DNG in a modified state, so I'm guessing I should be using a different format? Can anyone tell me what I should be using? I don't want to use a Lossy compression like JPEG.

Use tif, preferrably 16 bit, or psd if Aperture supports it (they are basicly the same). Lightroom will never change Raw data, whether it is in its original format (CR2) or in a DNG container. Modifications exist only as notations in the catalog or in an xmp file until they are rendered as an RGB file - jpg, tif, or psd.
