Got surprised by this one. Got done with my night shift, got home, turned on the news and saw it was all about Endeavour's flight over the Capitol. Not having much, if any time, to find a better spot, I did what I could and jumped out my bedroom window and onto my roof to get this mediocre shot.

The lighting sucks, the sun is harsh, the distance is to far, but I sure did have a sh!t eatin' :D on my face as she flew by. I never got to see a launch so this will be as close as I'll ever get to seeing one truly airborne.

Cheers!

Good Capture.
You can improve it with a flash mask.
If this is really safe transport ... they could put another row of passengers on top.
Just like an English 2 story bus.

Any "iffy" image is better than one you didn't get! ; )

I can second that, from personal experience! I didn't even get a freaking cell phone pic.

My sons school went to a rooftop near LAX to see it. I packed up my camera and went down there, but after finding out it was delayed, I had to leave to pick up a kid from another school who had a half day.
I was so disappointed. Then, right when I got on the freeway (which was dead stopped) It flew directly in front of me!
I was glad I got to at least see it, it was incredible.
