Merry Christmas Everyone:D
I took this shot of my little 5 months old. Using a home made soft box, 150W, household bulb. I used a 70-300mm EF lens. It was my first try.
Can anyone please critic any or all aspects of the picture.
Thank you.

It's an adorable shot and nice job with the lighting. My only CC would be to crop a little of the empty space over his head.

Your baby is just adorable! I have 4 boys, but none that little. I didn't have professional equipment then, and I regret that. Anyway, the cropping issue is important. I am not drawn to distracting patterns. If you could PS the backdrop out and crop, you can focus completely on the baby and that would really bring the expression out. Cute kid!

My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.
