A few weeks ago I was at Burning Man Korea and we had a gorgeous sunset...somehow, though...it looked best in B&W...taken with the S100:

but you have a problem... The image has no sun setting... and because it is in B&W, the viewer cannot decipher that just by looking. The hard lines crossing the wide crop is not pleasing. The foreground beach to water line is creating an optical illusion of an un-level horizon because it was taken from an angle. The three people far left should be cropped out or edited out.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. To be honest, I'm not trying to show sunset here, that was just a light joke due to the nature of this board :)

However...good call on the horizon, it's been bothering me...it's completely straight and I haven't been able to figure out what exactly is causing the optical illusion...so how could I have avoided it? By taking the picture straight on instead of at an angle? (Like 90* to the horizon, not 45-ish?).

Hmm...I see your point about the 3 ppl, I initially cropped them out, but I thought they helped balance the left side.
