Just submitted my 10 images to the 2012 Aviation Week & Space Technology photo contest. In my first go last year, I managed a 3rd in "Defense" and a Reader's Choice in "General"

Below are five of the 10 and I'll do a Part II for the other five...
Some are repeats from earlier posts but some haven't seen POTN.

These are all hot, buddy, but that F-4 with the AMARC in the background really rocks. Great compression from the 500 and I like the vignetting you added keep the background from being too distracting. How did you get on that side of the flightline? The ultimate irony would have been if there were still rows of F-4s lined up in the boneyard, but I reckon they've all been made into drones by now.
