Canon closing factories in China

I just read this stories about factories closing in China, because of the islands dispute; if this is not only temporarily , could trigger higher prices for some of Canon electronics including cameras ;

"Canon announced on Monday it will close its three Chinese factories temporarily. The company's China headquarters told China Daily that the factories are located in Zhongshan and Zhuhai, Guangdong province, and in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

The factories employ more than 20,000 Chinese workers, and they will "take two days off, with pay, on Sept 17 and Sept 18", according to Canon. The factories mainly produce digital cameras and printers."

Meh, this particular factory closing is just to let the workers vent via the Chinese-gov't co-ordinated anti-Japanese protests for a while, but it will be back-to-business soon enough after the Chinese gov't realizes that people who learn to protest at gov't-incited events soon learn to protest at events the gov't doesn't endorse. (Protesting in any way is illegal in mainland China, yet police are "helping" the protests by closing roads and directing the rallies to specific areas. "We've always been at war with Eastasia.")
