LA river blues

C+C welcome

The first one is very atmospheric, just right imo. Wisely chosen motive, wouldn't be the same without the grafitti.

Number two does nothing for me, sorry. I don't see the motive of that shot, nothing my eye jumps on when looking at it. The fence in the foreground is out of focus and disturbing, the right side is too dark to see anything interesting and the bright side seems blown-out. You can do better, I'm sure.

Not sure what to think of number three. The question is: WHY? Why is the person there, who is it and why lying on the ground?
Can be a nice image when background info is provided for the viewer. Otherwise the shot just doesn't make sense to me.

LOL.. the second one, I was tryin to create that sunlight lighting up that box, cus someone was actually living there... I purposly darkin the right side, tryin to get that drastic contrast, kinda like the light at the end of the tunnel effect, guess I failed. and the last one.... the guy was passed out.... on the banks of LA river... that's the kinda people that dies when the river floods every year.... I snapped the pics cus it was Xmas morning and I felt so lucky to have a home and all that... I guess it doen't make sense if I didn't explain it. thanks for the comments.

I love that first image, looks like an image from Half Life 2 or something.

The first one stands out as the pick of the crop for my taste!. Very well done

I hate it when I look at art and can't tell what it is supposed to be. I mean, if I wanted to think, I'd go read a book or something. Just give me something I can understand, like a man getting hit in the groin with a football. Now that's art!

Okay, sorry for the sarcasm. I liked the picture just as much when I was left guessing. The mystery is more interesting than the banal facts.

I really like the first one. Great shot!
