I think I'll keep my T2i + 50 1.4 for awhile yet . . . :D

(OK, I admit that I can't afford the fancy stuff, so have to rock what I have. It's really about light, people!) :)

It ain't the arrow, it's the Indian.

Lovely portrait.

Check your WB, your colors are just a bit off and need some contrast. Nice Portrait though :P

Interesting. I adjust WB by skin balance (which is technically correct, though it can be somewhat objective.)

What exactly would you change on this edit?

Sort of irrelevant to the equipment argument, though. ;)

I think WB and colors are spot on as is contrast. Nice work and I agree a LOT about the equipment.

I agree, I would like to see the WB a little warmer and more contrast. I also have to rock the T2i until I can afford a Mark II... :)

Yeah, the Mark II is on my dream list . . . (won't even let myself dream about the III.) :)

Thanks! I could think about warming it a tad, but I don't see a contrast issue either.

Beautiful portrait...Lovely setting...His face isn't quite messy enough, though...Perhaps a little apple juice dripping down his chin?;)

He DID have juice right on his chin -- and I cloned it out! LOL.

What were your settings for this shot? My 50 1.4 doesn't produce as sharp images as that.

5Dmkii, 24-70L T3i, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, 60mm 2.8 macro, 430ex II and 580ex II.

I have a similar set up and love it (although I do wonder what a full frame feels like).

Here's my 1st day of school pic (yes, I know I should have fixed her hair).
