I think if that were me taking the top photo, someone would have to pass me some toiletpaper. Phenominal capture. KUDOS to you Phil.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Wonderful shots, wow, cannot even imagine being in a position to get these! The bears are so beautiful with their light colour.

These are great as all of your bear pics have been, full of action. Have to agree with Al on the first . The bear in #1 has "I'm going to eat a photographer" written all over his face.

I think he was looking right through me and toward the other photographer - he was shooting with Nikon (LOL). Thank you.

Thanks, Rick. My guide always had my back. But the little girl in the second shot was only about 7 feet away. She was such a cutie - she stood there for about an hour, fishing - but looking over at me every so often just to make sure I wasn't going to cause trouble.

It wasn't as bad as it seems, Al. but it was a little intimidating the first couple times.

Thank you. My guide was excellent. He really knows these bears and put us in all the right places.

After seeing the second photo, I don't think I'll sleep tonight. It's like the Grizzly is looking into my soul! Yikes.

No matter how good of a guide I would get, I would insist on a guide that runs slower than me.

Great captures.

Thank you. I actually sent a copy of that home to my wife before I left Alaska and introduced her to "my new girlfriend."

phil. The bear was probably going after the guy with the n*k*n, and not you. Eithe way, I would want to get out of his way.
