Nothing wrong with owning a more lenses then you would normally use at once but when I travel, or really for just about anything, I pick 2 or 3 to take with me. I do plan to get a nice point and shoot for an upcoming trip where I will still take my DSLR but with just a minimal kit.

I do plan to get a 400L 5.6 and a 1.4x next to use on my 60D as a wild life/bird lens. Can't wait to try it out.

I'm still waiting for the pancake F2.

Voightlander makes one but its manual focus.

I got into my phones programs and "optimized" all the camera settings to get the "best" I can record, and have yet to take one image. I even acquired a 4 gb micro card for it. I imagine I'll utilize it as a camera eventually but if I am planning on taking images I'll have my 60d with me.

I recently went to London for a week and, after thinking about it pretty hard, paired my normal kit back from most of the things in my sig, to just the 40D, 18-270, flash and CPL. Since I didn't have any specific shooting in mind and didn't figure I'd be doing a ton of wildlife, etc and more architecture, etc I didn't think I'd need all of the big guns. It worked out quite well and will likely be my standard, "vacation" gear from now on. Plus, I tank either the body or the lens, I can suck that up a lot better than the cost of something happening to the "L"s :p

The exception being, as noted above, a photo-specific trip; in that case, they're ALL comin' with me :D
