Your experiences EF 28-300mm L f3.5/5.6 IS USM

Please share your experiences with this lens.

I have not used a push pull before...any comments on "push/pulls"

This certainly seems to be an "all-in-one" lens, but even for an "L" is this too good to be true?

Well ive never used this lense but i love the feeling of push - pulls. They are great for sports or nature because you can zoom in much faster then a twisting lense.

I use the 100-400L zoom, which is also a push-pull. As Sebastian says, it's very fast for zooming from one end to another. If you're used to twist-zooming, it may take some practice to get accustomed to the push-pull operation. But it doesn't, to me, constitute a problem for the shooter and some might prefer it.
