I started with breezebrowser and moved onto C1 which is my mainstay of converters. I also use Raw Shooter both Essentials and Premium. I was never a fan of ACR so just have stayed away from that one. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I don't care for Adobe Camera Raw, at least not with the functionality it includes when used in conjunction with PS Elements 3.0. Canon's DPP is free, of course, but so is the better (IMO) Rawshooter Essentials. I've never used Breezebrowser or C1. ~ Jay ~

It has a lot of capability that you can try for free, since you have it already. Some of the other popular RAW converters also have free trial periods available, or are entirely free. SWPhoto-Imaging

I find these three useful depending on what I am doing. I do not use the Photoshop Raw software...I among the minority, I think, in finding it less than intuitive and burdensome...my opinion.

Reading the Bruce Fraiser book really helps you get the most out of it. I tried RSE but didn't like it so much. I do like its fill light and use it just for that.
