A few weeks ago, we were contacted by a radio station, to ask if we would donate our time for their Mai'le High Wedding promotion. We said yes, and a lucky Bride & Groom (Michaela & Nathan) were chosen a few days out from the planned wedding! They wed at 16,000 feet, before making their jump soon after sunrise. I was originally meant to be in the plane, with a chute, and capture everything, but there wasn't enough room. Probably a good thing!

Nice!

I doubt that it was intended, but I love how the branch and her veil,in the 5th photo, nearly make a nice circle around the couple.

Amazing!! You really get a feel for it going through the blog post…

What are the squiggly lines that look like prop tracks on the airplane image? How is that done?
Great work!

If I ever did a shoot mid-air... I'd probably attach 10 different straps on my camera. don't want it falling off by accident :D.

Nice set. The tilt-shift effect looks weird in 4 and 7 because the background still on focus while the foreground is not.

Who cares about my gear?

Tiltshift at a wedding?... never seen it before. Looks like you know how to pull it off.

I'd think you would have to know how to tilt shift really well in order to do adjusments on the fly like that.

Thanks for the comments.

Yes, it is the Canon TS-E 24 II lens. Not a fake ;)

It's our style of weddings, 85L + 24 TS-E.
The star shot was also with the tilt shift, with no tilt.
It's such a sharp lens wide open!
