I've just started shooting it, any tips?
Where should i stand/ what should i look for to get great shots?
How do you guys deal with water splashes?
How should i get pictures of goalies blocking?

shooting with a 70-300 f4-5.6 on canon, its a t2i so it doesnt have much burst.
I can get my hands on a 7D if necessary, however.

Thanks in advance!

I shoot with a 300 from the end mostly, the end behind the opposing goal. There you can get both the attackers and the saves. Water splashes have never been a problem for me. It's a fun sport to shoot, lots of action and clean backgrounds. Have fun.
