New firmware updates are out for bodies and 35mm.

I updated my X-E1 and 35mm and OMG, AF is ALOT better.
AF-S with full shutter press is also faster.

That's good to hear! Someone at Fujirumors.com was saying the AF was a lot noisier after the update.. did you experience anything like that?

Does anyone know a place in the US to buy the HG-XE1 hand grip? It seems impossible to find, unless you want to order it from overseas...

Here's one of many shots of Muse last night at the Rose Garden here in Portlant. It was the 2nd time seeing them and they are the best act live period. Matt sounds better live than he does on the album if that's possible to imagine.

Looks pretty awesome, Chris! I shot a band at a live show this past weekend, but I shot it with my 5D II. My insurance company hasn't confirmed my Fuji is insured yet, so it really hasn't left the house. My Sigmalux really struggled, and isn't NEAR as sharp as the fuji 35 1.4 wide open... It was kind of depressing...

Are you still going Nikon this year?

I have not been on the forums for a while not, let alone the Fuji X thread. I am hoping I will have more opportunities to shoot with it this year seeing as how I am actually selling off all my gear in favor of the X-Pro1 and possibly the X100s or X-E1 kit.

Anyways, I attended a local cosplay event last week with my X-Pro1, I didn't get to take as many photos as I liked because I am still not comfortable using this camera for events. And as my luck would have it, I forgot to bring my charger so I had to make use of my only battery. For anyone looking to purchase an X-series camera (X-Pro/X-E1/X100) BUY EXTRA BATTERIES!!

Thanks! The 35 1.4 is crazy sharp.

Well I just ordered a hand grip from Uniquephoto.com. According to resseller ratings, they are a good place to buy from... so we will see! So far, it's the only place in the US that has them in stock, so I'm a little skeptical.

I don't use neck straps (or straps of any kind...), so I'd really like the grip for added security...
