It takes amazing photos. Focus is fast enough and extremely accurate. I just received my X-Pro1 and 35 1.4 today and all I have to say is wow. The reviews helped but I didn't think I would be this blown away by it especially coming from a 5d2. I can honestly say I'm 110% happy with my decision. It's taking a little while to get adjusted but that was expected. I also got my match technical red bop in after thinking I ordered the boop instead but it feels great and it's secured tightly into it. I'll also be adding a Gariz leather half case and A&A silk neck strap shortly to finish it off. Fuji XPro 1 high ISO test And another showing just how remarkable the color reproduction is in AWB with 3-4 different bulbs in the area. Also how freaking sharp it is wide open. I was going back and forth, trying to decided between the x-pro 1 and the x-e1. I finally decided to get the x-e1 based on size.. I really wanted something smaller. I do know that my next lens purchase will be the 35 f/1.4. I just hope my 5DII doesn't get jealous... It's wanted a 35L for a long time... Sony A7RII | Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 | Fuji X-T1 | 23 F/1.4

I've got both the XP1 and XE-1 and I prefer the XE1 for its compactness. You'll love the files that comes out of that little power house. High ISO is outstanding, I shoot at 6400 with no worries.

I think the hold up is the 18-55 lens that comes in the kit, since the X-E1 body seems to be easy to get now. Sony A7RII | Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 | Fuji X-T1 | 23 F/1.4

It's perfect minus not being FF but man I'm still stunned by it. Can't wait till the 23 1.4 and 53 1.4 are added. I do think the EVF focuses a lot more consistently than the OVF but it is what it is. Battery life is actually better than I thought considering I'm using the OVF a lot. I picked up a pearstone battery and so far that's outlasting the Fuji. -Chris-Website
