I just got a new x-pro1 + 35mm f/1.4 today and impressed so far.

Experimenting how much the RAW files can take since I can't go out and shoot.

Thinking about a Fuji X Pro-1, see my review

I use Canon 1Dx and 5D III for my work. I wanted to find something a bit smaller and lighter and recently acquired a Pro-1 kit with four lenses. I find the files from the camera the best I have ever seen from an APC sensor. I think the body is well built but there are a number of ergonomic factors that particularly annoying. I wrote all this up with photos on my blog: www.foto-gizmo.blogspot.com (external link). If you are thinking about adding a Fuji X Pro-1 to your arsenal, you may find this review helpful.

Are you guys starting to shoot RAW now that there is adobe support? I seem to think the fuji JPGs are looking better than the RAWs still?.. Thoughts?

Hows the AF speed and shutter lag after the firmware updates?

Is zone focusing easy with Fuji Xpro1?

Thanks

I've been shooting raw since LR 4.1 (currently on LR4.4), and its slow but it works for what I do. I am actually starting to use JPG so I can't comment too much about that.

AF sucks but is useable, especially if you are coming from a DSLR camera. I managed to shoot a full wedding with my XPro1 and X-E1. But, if anyone here is looking for a responsive AF camera then look elsewhere or wait for the next batch of Fuji camera to come out.

zone focusing is very easy with the XPro1 since you can see the distance scale in camera.

Really love your photos BTW.

I haven't found any reason to shoot RAW with it yet. Seems that jpgs look very good.
