I woke early Xmas morning and walked out to look at the sky, my jaw hit the floor! It was an deep red, a lot darker red than the photo. I raced in, grabbed the camera bag and jumped into the car to get to the beach.


Lucky I was only 1min drive from the beach. I'd been shooting for about 2mins when someone else arrived with the same idea - so then we had a good chat while taking the occasional photo.


The day turned out to be fine, sunny and hot with this cloud cover burning off within a few hours.:cool:
