I have the free Flickr account, but I don't really use it - I have my own website for my pictures.

Crap, IMO. Way too much nudity in the past. Even with filter. Don't know if it is now. I'm thinking of deleting my account from it. It is kind of dusty dark corner for me.

Flickr Pro for me to find contacts with good pictures, participate in groups, get my pictures noticed. I like - it has all different groups. RFs, Film, lenses, Candids, Macro and so on.
I also use Google Picasa as on-line archive for family pictures, not so expensive.

Flickr for me. It lets you search by username - Photobucket is still thinking about that function. To me, Photobucket is useless.

I quit using Photobucket when they deleted a couple of my images: apparently they violated the TOS for nudity, even though they were fully-clothed dancers on a theatre stage. Stage dancers in skin-toned bodysuits and skin-toned stockings are quite different than gratuitous nudity.

That was a couple of years ago, I'm using Flickr now. As noted above, Photobucket's site is a hot mess.

LOL, as a matter of principle I'd not use a pay site that has a problem with nudity.

I use smugmug for my site (eventually I'll get around to actually build it too) and flickr free to share images. Quick and easy to use. For a more pro look to a portfolio there are other better options, but they also cost a lot more. To just share your images flickr is currently the way to go I believe.

40D, 5D3, a bunch of lenses and other things
