I've been lurking on the forum for quite a while and thought I would post a few shots to get some feedback. These are from Grand Valley State University but I was shooting the visitors, Ferris State. The lighting is adequate but lots of hot and cold spots, especially along the boundaries. Shot mostly at 5000 or 6400 ISO. I tried to keep my shutter speed above 800.

Thanks for looking!

Ben

Good series, but they look a little off on my iPad. Might try linking to higher res images instead of attaching the lower res versions. The best in you series are those with the target's face visible

What body/lens did you use? They look really clean for 5000/6400! Did you use any noise reduction?

Photo geek: Thanks for the comments. I agree faces make for a better shot. I will look into using high res images.

Uncover: these were shot with a 1DIV or a 1DX. However they all were noisy. I used a little NR in Lightroom. Thanks for the comments. Really appreciate you taking the time.

Ben

Looks good to me. Volleyball is always tough to shoot.

Lurking for so long and then violating the rules, nice.

Sorry I guess I should have read all the rules. Lurking didn't help me to much. I apologize for the number of images. I've read the rules now and hopefully I'm up to speed!

Nice images! The right side double block and the joust are my favorites. Hmm - maybe that's because when I played - I LOVED blocking! Nothing like taking away a big swing :)

Thanks for sharing!
