A few red-breasted and white-breasted nuthatches

A few shots of the nuthatches from today. The red-breasted are new to my feeder really enjoy watching the nuthatches and there poses. Thanks for looking!

So that where the RB's are this year! Saw 1 several times last year, but nary a 1 this year-plenty of the WB, tho. Glad to know the RB"s are in the general area. Those are excellant shots, Jay.

Good shots, Jay; you should be able to train the red-breasters to hand feed; not so with the whities.

Thanks Rog, Just recently was the first I had ever seen them. So far I know of 3, they have been to the feeder at the same time waiting there turn!

Thanks Al, I was suprised at how friendly they are. I have been up to within couple feet of these guys and they dont mind one bit. I'm going to give the hand feeding a try thanks for the suggestion!
