I like gels for creating dynamic backgrounds or for backlighting, but I'd rather have the skin tones close to normal. Just something to consider. markweaver Senior Member 458 posts Likes: 3 Joined Aug 2010 Location: Fairfax VA More info | Try using the gel on just the rim light, so that it just highlights her hair. That way you retain the natural skin color and still have the funky light. Mark
