Hi
I just bought a Pulsar TX radio trigger it works perfectly but I noticed that the redeye reduction strobe seemed to stop.
I say 'seemed', because it appeared to work sometimes. Apologies for being a bit vague but as I shoot C1,2,3 mainly and have the Flash settings set differently for all of them; under duress of a shoot, I just abandoned trying to resolve it. And hence need to do some testing.
It's made more complex as when I mount the trigger the onboard flash menu dissapears.
Just wondered if anyone who uses triggers, or 'external' flash i.e. a Canon speedlite mounted on top [as the camera probably thinks this is an'external' speedlite?] knows how this all works?
Trying to figure out is it a bad feature of the Bowens Pulsar, or is it normal if you mount a Speedlite on top that the Redeye Reduction is turned off. Maybe even parameter driven say if you have selected wireless in the sub menu. As I said before its tricky to see all the permutations as to when this happens as with the trigger mounted you can't get into the sub menus.
I wondered if this was the case when you have Speedlitte mounted.
ANy help advice appreciated.
Thanks Peter
