Hawaii Trip - lens suggestions

Hi everyone,
I'm going to Hawaii next month with my family, at Waikiki Beach (Oahu).
I like landscape and family photo.
I need to carry a light bag, not too heavy and bulky because I want to enjoy with my family.
I have Canon 5D (mark I), 17-40 f/4L, 24-70 f/2.8L, 24-105 f/4L, 70-200 IS II f/2.8L, Speedlite 580EX II, and a Heliopan 77mm CPL.
I need your suggestions about what lens should I bring for the trip.

I brought 70-200 and 24-70 last time I went to Maui, both got good use.

Take your 5D and the 24-105 and you will take a lot of good photos and you will have fun.

Try the ND400 filter for fun...

I think just the 24-70 f/2.8L will be perfectly fine.
If you were to attend any Hawaiian night shows, then 2.8 would really help. Plus the 24-70 range would be perfectly fine IMHO.

For Hawaii if jut one lens I would like to take, it will be 17-40 for 5Dc.

Tip: You can always sneak in a tiny prime if you have into Wife's purse.

If I had a full frame, this is what I would do.

I go to Maui almost every year, and on my 7D, my 15-85mm is easily the best choice for me, although I keep a fast prime handy if I need it, as someone else suggested.

You don't want to be changing lenses on the beach if you don't have to, take the 24-70L and have fun.

Subscribed... I am going to Hawaii in February but I only have a t3 but surely am listening to lens suggestions..

In order of priority, take for your full frame camera your: 1) 24-105L, 2) 17-40L, and 3) 70-200L. All of this depends, of course, on the pictures you think you might take. The 24-105 is probably the best general-purpose lens. The 17-40, when used carefully, can produce great scenic shots. The 70-200 would be best for distance shots, such as for surfers. If you go to a luau, it usually includes native dancing. At night, your 70-200/2.8 would be very useful.

On previous trips to the Big Island, I used mostly my 17-85 (which I no longer have) and 10-22 on my 60D and 30D. Your nearest equivalents are your 17-40 and 24-105.

I went a couple months back and used a 17-40, 24-105, and a 85 prime at night. Didn't bring the 70-200 but if you've got room for it in the suitcase knock yourself out and just leave it in the hotel room unless you know you're going to need it.

This --> 17-40 L

Lots of fun stuff to shoot after dark in Waikiki, bring the 24-70, I use a 17-40 a lot there.

From the suggestions, look like the 17-40 and 24-105 will be the most choice .
I think I would bring the 24-105, 580EX II and a CPL filter for the trip, and spend time to enjoy with my family.
